Why do I host? Because I want to know other cultures and people, so this year 2019 I only host Asian people. This means when I host you, you have to spend time with me ( a few hours a day is enough :P).
My name is Gee (as in Guy Laroche), I am from Belgium and I live in Bangkok since 27 March 2007, when I "retired" myself. I am interested in health food & natural healing!
I live on Onnut street {อนนุช in Thai language}(also called Sukumvit soi 77) , which is located between the airport Suwannaphum (BKK)and the city center.

But DO NOT write my name on the arrival card that you get on the plane, as CS fits not into the Thai law system :) You just write Hotel Emro ,995 Onnut road, Suanluang, 10250 Bangkok.
1)You arrive in the old airport??
Most of my guests coming from the old airport, Don Muang (DMK) as it is the main airport for AirAsia, from there you can take bus A 1 (30 thb) (DAYTIME!!) at exit gate number 6, where you also can buy a sim card, internet + calls, 199 thb for a week, and 499 thb for 2 weeks, if I remember correctly. Bus A1 : you have to get off at the Skytrain (BTS) station Moochit and there you take the skytrain to BTS Onnut ( about 50thb, direction Kheha), it takes 17 stops so about 50 minutes, it is air conditioned , both stations are on the same line, so no transfer needed.
If you gonna use the skytrain often, take a 15 trip card valid for 4 weeks, that is 465 thb so cheaper per trip than a single trip, if you travel the BTS frequently and make a lot of long trips.
2) If you arrive in Suwannaphum airport (BKK) , take a taxi, but do not take a taxi at the arrival level, because they count 50 thb more, so better go to the departure level, there are always taxis arriving. The taxi fare is about 200-250 thb, do not go via the highway, as this is not free of charge, and it is not really necessary. Do not use Grab because they count the extra 50 thb too!
3)If you arrive in the Central Railway station (Hualalompong) take the subway (MRT) to Sukumvit Station and there the sky train (BTS) to Onnut .
4)You finally arrived at BTS Onnut, how to get to my place??:P
There are two ways: at the BTS station Onnut you choose exit 2 and just in front of Tesco Lotus, you take a taxi. Ask the driver to go to "Baan Onnut Condominium" and if he does not know it, show him my address in Thai ( it should cost about 50 thb) .
If the taxi is too expensive for you, take exit nr 1 at Onnut BTS station and once downstairs you walk against traffic till you see on your right hand side the street named Sukumvit soi 77 (about 600 meters), you go into that street till you see the Big C supermarket on your right hand side, there you (carefully) cross the road, and walk in the direction of the traffic for about 60 meters, till you see the white songteow. All white songteow (pick up truck taxi) pass my building. Please check the map and just walk the green line. Get into the back of the songteow and after 2 km you can see on the right hand side Onnut soi 28 , then you have to ring the bell. When the driver stops, pay him 9 thb and cross the pedestrian bridge. When you get off the bridge, make a U turn, and walk for about 100 meter against the direction of the traffic, and on your right hand side you will see a 18 floor building, that is Baan Onnut Condominium, welcome :P. If the security guys ask you something you tell them you are a guest of room 94.
